Soham rathod

calligrapher & digital artist

Hi, I am soham rathod a founder of shivoham art school calligrapher & digital artist.
I also work in some traditional forms of calligraphy, with over a 8 years of experience in this field
I started when I was kid
I signed up for first calligraphy class at age 14 while on summer vacation. when most kids would prefer to go for trip, I were happy to spend a few hours in art studio, in awe of the calligraphy pens and alphabets that surrounded me, From then on I added a touch of hand lettering to all of our school notes journals, even throughout high school.
I didn't go to art school...
I went to college to study very different topics; I studied in science field, i proudly graduated bachelor in chemistry from kadi university in 2018,after that i go for masters but a desire to return to our creative sides after study ended each day. I spent hours experimenting to learn as many lettering styles as possible, i followed hundreds of Instagram accounts for inspiration, I purchased countless books for research, most importantly I kept creating.
Others started noticing my skills

Friends, family began requesting custom greeting cards and personalized quotes, and nothing felt better than creating something handmade to make someone else feel special, i wanted to share this feeling of joy, so i published my first video tutorials in 2018 and taught my first in person workshop in 2019.

fast forward to today I taught many students just like you, I am so proud of my students who have gone from "what is calligraphy?!" to seeing a beautiful transformation in skill and confidence.
